It is an open architecture, variable temperature - field system that is optimised to perform a variety of automated measurements. The PPMS works like a dedicated system but its tremendous flexibility lets you perform different types of measurements. Plus, you can easily integrate your own unique experiments with the PPMS.

Quantum Design - Versalab
Fully automated turnkey cryogen-free cryocooler-based portable VSM. This 3-tesla VSM has an experimental temperature range of 50 to 400 k.
